MICHAEL FREELAND, O.D.
Dr. Freeland graduated with honors from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1997, where he also completed a clinical teaching fellowship. He was born and raised in Camarillo and is happy to be carrying on the tradition his father James Freeland,O.D. started over 40 years ago of serving the communities optometric needs.
Dr. Freeland is committed to providing excellent vision care for your entire family including pediatric exams and advanced contact lenses. Dr. Freeland has been chosen Ventura County Star Favorite Optometrist for 6 years in a row. 2007, 2008,2009,2010, 2011,and 2012.We were also voted Favorite Eyeglass Store for 2011 and 2012.

MICHAEL ROSS, O.D.
Dr. Ross received his undergraduate training at the University of California at Berkeley and graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 1986.
Following graduation, Dr. Ross entered the Navy and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. The Navy selected Dr. Ross to receive advanced education and training. He attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and received his Masters Degree in Clinical Optometry in 1995.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ross has been interested in training optometry students and has taught as an adjunct clinical professor on the staffs of the Southern California College of Optometry and the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. Dr. Ross is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association and the Armed Forces Optometric Association. He retired from the Navy with the rank of Commander in July 2006 and joined Dr. Freeland at the Family Optometry Center of Simi Valley. He looks forward to meeting all of your families visual needs.
